This nocturnal work is a serenade to life. The musician is surrounded by symbolic elements. Thus, the candelabra helps him find his way and sheds light on his journey - one of the candles just got extinguished, the same way as in our lives might occur some small problem disturbing our vision of things.

The small mammal, a primate from the South African night, represents one of the theories relative to Man's beginnings - in his coat, one can foresee a small humanoid figure.

On the other hand, the presence of an infant in the hearth of the instrument reminds us of another theory, that of creation being the resultant of a divine intervention, the finger pointing at the newborn.

The hand in the instrument neck also takes a form resembling the feathered serpent god, Quetzalcoatl, who, in Mesoamerica, was said to have created modern man from his blood shed on bones he had recovered from the infernos of Mictlán.
