Queen of Mount Olympus deities, Hera is daughter of Cronus and Rhea, as well as wife and older sister of Zeus. She was celebrated as goddess of marriage and births
Extremely jaleous of Zeus extra-marital affairs, she punished severely her rivals and their children.
The peacock, symbol of pride, was assicated with Hera - her wagon was pulled by peacocks. Hera is usually represented as majestic and solemn. I prefered to represent her calm and serene.
