The Mermaids, those mythological beings, have always been source of fascination. I allude here to the mother protecting by all means her dearest possession, her child.
As a means of protection, her head is crowned by a ‘lion fish’ and his poisonous spines. Her hair made of sea anemones is equally dangerous – only the little clown fish dare approaching and living, distracting the little one at the same time.
Vegetation, corals and other sea anemones provide efficient camouflage as well to the mother as to the child.
The eyes of the fishes composing the background transform themselves into fine oxygen bubbles, source of life.
