Comment from the artist
Homage to one of my four favourite composers, the brilliant Ludwig van Beethoven, represented her e in conjunction with another important historical man, Napoleon Bonaparte.
Naturally, both characters are contemporary and, according to the composer's biographers, Beethoven wrote his third symphony, said 'Eroica', with the intent of naming it after Napoleon. He finally decided otherwise when the latter proclaimed himself emperor. He simply titled it "Heroic symphony written to celebrate the memory of a great man".
By this representation, I tried to reflect the confrontation between the ideas, visions and ideals of two geniuses of the early XIXth century.
