Comment from the artist

The main constituent of this piece is the bark of a tree. In a knot, a woman. She sees herself being absorbed back by the tree, bit by bit. The bark is made of multiple human bodies that surround the woman and try to melt her back in their mass.

Symbolically, this piece represents our necessity to somewhat let go the material world surrounding us in order to get back to what we are in reality, an integral part of nature.
