For me, life is similar to the reading of actors, where everyone of us interprets his role, easily or with trouble, according to his own skill in overcoming difficulties. It is possible that, comes the drop of the curtain at the end of our existence, the applause be sparse or on the contrary more hearty than anticipated, according to our performance in this life.
This work presents us with a being who, with skill, can fly thanks to a booklet acting as wings, and enabling him to rise and perhaps get over the obstacles that life brings his way. This obstacle takes the shape of a wall made of a series of metal plates, each one symbolizing a moment of life, and which, little by little, are eroding to finally permit a renaissance, the blossoming of lily flowers - as if, of our mistakes, we ourselves could be reborn.
Well in hand, the actor holds a candle, symbol of Knowledge, while trying to attain with the other a sphere, still out of reach, Wisdom.
