Comment from the artist
In a rare political stance, I am here denunciating the fate of those mothers around the world who, forcefully or not, are selling or letting go of their children.
The mother Rose is offering to passer-bys some small flowers, her own flesh. Behind her, a group of silhouettes, indifferent, who seem to ignore both her offer and the act she's going through. The garden of flowers, all different, represents the multitude and diversity of the children of the world.
